Knowing your oxidation rate is very important for your health, so you need to know it. In simple terms, how quickly do you use up food? Some people burn food slowly, and some people burn food quickly. In both ways, being aware of this important piece of information can make a big difference in how well your detox diet works and how well your health works, too.
There are two types of people who burn food: those who burn food quickly and those who burn food slowly. A person who quickly breaks down food needs more slow-burning food, like a diet with more high-quality good fat and oil, to help them stay healthy. It is a good match for the person who quickly breaks down food, because that person will be able to keep up their energy.
The slow oxidizer, on the other hand, can eat a lot of fast-burning foods like grains, but not as much of the good fats and oils. In terms of how much energy they use, there is a huge difference between the two things.
It’s not getting the right food for how quickly your body breaks down food if your diet doesn’t match. One of the keys to good health is making sure you eat the right foods at the right times.
This means your oxidation rate is very important. How do you find out your oxidation rate now that you know this?
This is the most important thing. Even though your hair isn’t alive anymore, it’s a place where you keep all of your macro minerals and trace metals. They build up in the hair over a period of three to four months. Through a hair mineral test and with the help of a lab that looks at your hair the right way, you can figure out how quickly your hair oxidizes. In the future, when you know this important fact, you can figure out what kind of food you should eat just for you. See Analytical Research Laboratory for more.
There will be no more guesswork! It’s great that you were right about the fact that not all foods have the same effect on everyone. The two oxidation rates are why. Because grains and fruits burn quickly, they aren’t the best choice for someone who quickly breaks down food. For someone who quickly breaks down food, sustained energy isn’t possible. The person who eats quickly will always be hungry soon after. I know there are people who say that’s me. I get hungry an hour after I eat because I’m on the wrong diet.
Then, on the other hand, if the fast oxidizer eats slow-burning foods like eggs, olive oil, butter, or some nuts, they will have more energy and the need to eat will slow down. Slow oxidizers have the opposite effect. They need and can eat food that burns quickly to keep their energy levels up.
As a way to make this easier, some people are like cars that move quickly on a highway and use up a lot of fuel. This is the car that is going very quickly down a side street. The other is the one that is going very slowly. These are things that take a long time to break down.
A car that needs unleaded gas but you’re putting in diesel fuel and unleaded gas together is like this: It’s not the right fuel! It will work, but not at its best, and over time it will need to be fixed.
As soon as you understand how your body’s oxidation works and what it means to diet, let’s talk about a “detox diet.” If you don’t know your oxidation rate, you may be eating the wrong food or the wrong food a lot of the time. The buzz word “detox diet” is being used a lot. Those on detox diets must match the rate at which their bodies break down food.
As you read this article, I’ll show you what a meal plan for both slow and fast oxidizers looks like.
A list of recipes for a detox diet.
Breakfast for someone who doesn’t get tired quickly:
- Two eggs with spinach in an omelet made with olive oil or butter.
- Plain Ezekiel bread.
- There are 1/4 cup of blueberries in this.
- Two eggs with spinach in an omelet made with olive oil or butter.
- There are two organic turkey sausage links.
- One stalk of celery with almond butter on top of it.
They have less fat and oil in their meals, but they can have a high-quality grain product as well as some fruit. This is called a “slow oxidizer breakfast.” The slow oxidizer will take a long time to break down the food and keep you going all morning.
The fast oxidizers need more olive oil or butter in their food, while the almonds need more fat and oil.
Butter, turkey sausage, and bread. For someone who is a fast oxidizer, this combination of foods will keep them going all morning long.
Lunch for the person who doesn’t get tired quickly:
- Baked chicken breast with very little butter and garlic in it for 4 oz.
- 1 cup of steamed carrots with 1 tablespoon of butter and a pinch of sea salt in them.
- Brown rice: 1/2 cup.
- The Fast Oxidizer will have lunch at this time.
- Approximately 4 oz. of roasted chicken thighs are made with a small amount of butter and garlic, and served with a side dish.
- 1 cup of steamed carrots with 3 tablespoons of butter and a pinch of sea salt in them.
- Pecans are 6-8.
Again, you can see that the slow oxidizer has less fat and oil than the fast oxidizer.
Both have their own protein and vegetables, but they both have them. At slow speed, there is the grain (brown rice). In fast, there is more fat and oil.
Dark-meat chicken, butter, and pecans are in this dish. The slow cooker has a lot less fat in the chicken breast.
Dinner for the person who doesn’t get tired quickly:
When the fish was cooked, it had garlic and lemon juice on it.
Some olive oil and some Swiss chard with raisins.
Sweet potatoes are very plain.
This is what the Fast Oxidizer will have for dinner:
4 oz of flounder with butter and garlic in it
What I made was Swiss chard with almonds, butter, and olive oil.
Sweet potatoes with 3 tablespoons of butter on top of them
It’s the same thing we saw before. The slow oxidizer can have flounder with lemon, and the slow oxidizer can have cranberries and plain sweet potato. People who fast consume a lot of butter with their flounder and sweet potatoes. On the fast, they also have more butter and fat in their almonds.
These recipes show the difference between the oxidation rates of slow and fast people. Unless you know how quickly your body breaks down food, all the detox diets in the world will have little or no effect and may even be dangerous.
For example, the lemon detox diet isn’t good for people who quickly break down food because they need food that burns more slowly. It’s bad to do this kind of cleanse because lemon is a fruit, which means it burns very quickly.
Detox diets, supplements, and lifestyle changes that work for your body in the long term are much better than fad diets or drinks made from liquid berries that don’t work for you at all! Also, you’ll be able to detox properly and safely, and the right diet will help you lose weight and keep it off. I think it’s very easy to figure this out: know your oxidation rate!
In general, don’t eat foods that have been altered in any way. Your great-grandmother used to eat food that was in its natural state, like when she did. These are the best foods.
